As a photographer I always feel I can get away with murder. A rather gloomy expression, but carrying a camera does open doors to what sometimes feels like forbidden territory.

Portraits can be personal, they can be confrontational and they can represent a reality that does not exist. A portrait is a story with a face that draws you in. Looking into someones eyes makes their story more direct, something to relate to. Sharing these stories feels like building doors to different realities. See and enjoy.
